Virtual Consultations
To make the journey easier for international patients, we offer virtual consultations as the first step in your cosmetic surgery planning.
Before your video consultation, we’ll ask you to submit a set of clear photographs along with your medical history. This allows Ms Nugent to assess your goals and suitability for surgery in advance.
You will typically have:
- One virtual consultation via secure video call, where Ms Nugent will discuss your desired outcomes, answer your questions, and provide a preliminary treatment plan.
- A second consultation will take place in person at our clinic in Tunbridge Wells or Harley Street shortly before surgery to finalise your plan, perform a complete physical assessment, and ensure you’re fully prepared and confident moving forward.
Planning Your Trip
We recommend arriving in Tunbridge Wells between one week and two days before your surgery, depending on your procedure and travel schedule. This allows you time to settle in and attend your preoperative consultation. We also plan your preassessment (pre-anaesthetic checks) ahead of your surgery with your chosen hospital.
How Long to Stay: After surgery, patients usually stay locally for five to seven days to allow for initial healing and an in-person follow-up before returning home. We may advise staying longer e.g. for two weeks for some complex procedures or where more than one procedure has been performed in a combined surgery.
We will provide you with specific advice customised to you and your planned procedure after your initial consultation with Ms Nugent.
